Who provides the service and processes data

Line & Choice is the product brand for this service. Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for purchases and is the legal seller in the transaction layer; it independently controls payment, tax, receipt and fraud data under its own terms and privacy policy. Line & Choice handles product, reading, feedback and support data and is the contact point for privacy questions about that data. Privacy questions may be sent to support@lineandchoice.com.

Information processed

• Your question, selected category, cast and optional context answers while producing the reading.
• A signed anonymous visitor Cookie kept for up to 365 days and an encrypted reading token kept separately on your device for up to seven days.
• When you start checkout, an AES-GCM encrypted copy of that reading token is retained in our database for up to seven days so a paid reading can be restored if browser storage is lost. We do not keep a plaintext copy of the reading or conversation in that record, and we do not store your payment email.
• Minimal server records for access recovery, purchases, refunds, security limits and support.
• Feedback text, an optional reply email and reading context only when you explicitly choose to include it.
• Technical request information handled by hosting infrastructure. The product converts a network source into a keyed one-way security identifier for abuse limits and does not store the raw address in the limiter.

How information is used

Information is used to deliver and recover the reading, generate the requested AI explanation, prevent abuse, provide support, process purchases and refunds, and improve reliability from voluntary feedback. Line & Choice does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides hosting and database infrastructure. DeepSeek processes the question and relevant reading context to provide AI language features. Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for purchases and processes checkout, tax, receipt and payment information as an independent controller under its own terms and privacy policy.

PostHog US Cloud processes only a small allowlist of product-funnel events, such as opening the landing page, completing a cast, viewing the free or detailed result, starting checkout, and a server-confirmed payment. It does not receive question text, AI output, feedback text, email, order or payment IDs, recovery tokens, or the product's visitor ID. This integration does not use autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, performance recording, person profiles, or a PostHog browser cookie; the service disables GeoIP for these events.

Storage and retention

The product database does not retain a plaintext conversation. At checkout, it keeps one AES-GCM encrypted reading token for no more than seven days solely to deliver and restore the paid reading; the usual encrypted token remains on the current device. The signed anonymous visitor Cookie is designed to preserve first-purchase eligibility and link access records for up to 365 days. Operational, transaction, security and support records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Reading context is not attached to feedback unless you opt in. You may clear the local reading token or anonymous visitor Cookie through browser storage controls. During the seven-day access window, a verified paid checkout can restore the encrypted reading even if those browser records are lost. Clearing the Cookie may still create a new anonymous visitor and disconnect ordinary browser access from prior purchases. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information by contacting support. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained.

International processing and changes

Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised date.
